As of Late

Things have been very busy lately. This little cutie had her second birthday this last week! She is getting too big! It was quite the eventful party where... Owen had to get stitches. He was probably the toughest little 4 year old ever! (I had to get my blood drawn a couple days after and I was freaking out! Ty told me that if a four year old can get stitches without freaking out, I can get my blood drawn :) ).

Then, Saturday I threw a Fifties Housewife Shower for my sister in law to be - Joy. It was so fun and everybody came dressed up in their fifties attire. I wish I had gotten better pictures of the food and decor. Linda got us the cutest cupcakes and it all looked totally fifties. I even made some cute aprons for the guests' soap bottles in their kitchens.

I surprised Tyler by buying him a bike!

And of course what's a weekend without stopping at Tiffany's! We love the new City Creek Mall!

We finished off our weekend with a Real Salt Lake soccer game. Such a blast!

Like Little Kids

This past weekend, Ty and I were pretty lazy :) but lucky for us, we can pretty much have an awesome time no matter we do. Friday night consisted of grocery shopping. This happened because I HATE grocery shopping on busy Saturday mornings especially when it is by myself, so I made Tyler come with me on a slow, empty store, Friday night. Because it was so slow, we took our sweet time browsing the grocery store with more in our basket then was probably needed. One of those items was some yummy snickers ice cream that I had to do some convincing to put in the cart. It definitely reminded me of those days, begging my mom to get me a treat at the store.

Then Came our Saturday night where we went to the trafalga fun center. This is where we REALLY were like kids. Just being in one of those moods where everything was hilarious, we decided to mini golf outside in the not so warm weather but atleast it wasn't snowing! I use to take my mini golfing skills very seriously but this time it was a different story. We just did everything we could to keep each other from hitting the ball in the hole and I was very successful at my job! Tyler did alright :) BECAUSE that picture of the ball on the hole is a hole-in-one from yours truly!

Other pictures consist of Ty having to use the flashlight on his phone to find
The ball he lost in the haunted house, some girls we met who wanted to make an obstacle course for us, and Ty's awesome golfing stance.

we must be super excited that we got our pass of all passes for this summer!

speeding ticket

I got my first ever speeding ticket yesterday. It stunk... I always bragged about how I have never gotten a ticket, but I guess I jinxed myself!

I was up in Bountiful, waiting for Tyler to get off work so that we could go get our taxes done. He met me up there and after we were done we drove out separately to get some yummy sushi with friends. As I was driving home, by myself, I drove over an overpass to get on the freeway faster than I should have been and, sure enough, there was a cop waiting at the bottom just for me. For some reason I thought, "He won't give me ticket! I have such a good driving record that he will just excuse it away!" Boy, was I wrong.

Needless to say, I called Tyler sobbing, so mad that I have to pay for speeding. It has definitely taught me my lesson, and I never want to get a ticket again! And thanks to Ty for not laughing at me for being hysterical over my first speeding ticket, he now has permission to laugh since I, myself, am laughing about it :)

Salt Lake Tribune Home and Garden Show

I wish I had taken pictures of this amazing event. I was not quite sure what to expect, but when my mom and I got there, I was amazed!!

Now obviously I do not have a home, but we will eventually and it was nice to see what options we have as far as where to get tile, or wood floors, or blinds, or anything really. But, of course, the home and garden show can be for everybody!

I bought sheets for only 35 bucks and they were 1500 thread count! I could not believe the deal! There were so many other things that I wish I could have gotten. There was a sponge that COMPLETELY soaked up dr. pepper out of carpet (that would be good to have with kids), there was the coolest window cleaner that did way better things than windex ever could, there was a whisk that all you had to do was push down on the handle several times and it whisked everything in the bowl. There was a cleaning spray that cleaned everything from rings and glasses to iphones and tvs, there was a rock wall for the backyard that had a slide, and best of all!!! was a grill that had a table, umbrella, fridge, and storage drawer all attached to it ($4,000 btw...).

It was amazing all the cool stuff they had and I definitely will be going again next year when we have a house.

Other fun things we did this weekend:

Temple with Chase and Laura and, of course, ice cream afterwards
Shopping in Park City
Playing Mario Kart with family and beating Tyler up when he wins (I get so mad)

4. Create 11 new questions and tag people to answer them.
5. Go to their blog/twitter/fb and tell them you've tagged them.
