One of my favorite things about weddings is being able to go to the temple with them and see them get married. It is such an amazing experience and reminds me of my own wedding day and how wonderful (and stressful) it is, but at the temple that stress is non existent. Everyone is so calm and so happy.
It was a long day full of fun events and seeing old friends. It's always fun for me to see the whole gang of boys be groomsmen at each others wedding's because it is craziness! But they make everything so much more fun. Gotta love those guys.
On Saturday we celebrated Owens birthday party with all of the kids in his class! It was a mad house but so much fun! The kids all did great and Owen loved his rock n roll themed party that Hillary and Jesse put together for him. What good parents! I still can't believe Owen is 5!
We finished our weekend off by taking a drive up millcreek canyon before church. This is one of my favorite things to do in the fall. The leaves were breathtaking.
I must admit that I really like being outside in the woods with Tyler just so I can check him out doing outdoorsy stuff ;) I had to get pictures of him chopping up this already fallen down aspen tree for my mom (I had to say already fallen down because I don't want it out there that we are cutting down trees illegally! ;) ).
Can I just say how happy I am that it is finally October! I have been getting ready for this month, and particularly Halloween, all through September! This is my favorite month, and it helps that we got married in October too. So excited for all of the fall things we get to do now :)
